v0.2.9
What's new in 0.2.9
Changed
- Employees now see which blank of a command goes where. Each command
shows its shape to the employee —python … --arg {info}— so a request
that says "arg is …" is understood as the{info}blank. Only the program's
name, the flags and the blanks are shown: every fixed value in the command
(a file name, a path, a key someone pasted in) stays on your machine.
Fixed
agentco run "task" --office salesno longer adds "sales" to the task.
The value of a flag was being read twice — once as the flag, once as part of
the text — so the office's name (or, with--dir, a folder path) was sent
to the assistant as if you had typed it. The same fix applies to
agentco office new "Name" --dir ….
agentco is a small company of AI employees that runs on your own machine. You
describe a task, they read the documents in your company folder, do the work,
and leave the result as a file on your drive.
Before you install
Claude Code must already be installed and signed in. agentco works through
it, on your own Claude account — without it the app opens but your assistants
cannot answer. https://claude.com/product/claude-code

your PC" the first time, and Edge may block the download. Choose More info →
Run anyway. A signing certificate is a cost waiting its turn, not an
oversight.

- About 170 MB of free space
- Claude Code installed and signed in
On macOS and Linux — or from any terminal, Windows included — install the same

%LOCALAPPDATA%\AgentCo; no administrator rights needed. - Your company folder sits beside the program and survives uninstalling —
removing agentco never removes your documents. - Nothing is sent anywhere. No account, no telemetry, no activation.
v0.2.8
What's new in 0.2.8
A fix release for Commands on this machine (CLI connections).
Fixed
- A placeholder written the way READMEs write it now works. Typing
--arg <your text>into a command's Syntax used to save<your,text>as
fixed words, so the command failed every time it ran. The form now spots
<…>— even without the closing>— and offers to turn it into a blank
with one click (Apply suggestion). - A command whose Example does not match its Syntax can no longer be
saved. The Example is the line you know runs, so the form now insists the
Syntax matches it. When exactly one part differs, one click turns that part
into a blank, named after the flag in front of it (--arg→{arg}). - A command no longer pretends to have received a value it has no blank
for. When an employee tried to pass your text to a command with no blank,
the command used to run its fixed line anyway and report success. It now
refuses, runs nothing, and the employee tells you the command needs a blank.
