Haps v0.1.18
Haps 0.1.18 adds project manifests and safer source review and builds.
- Projects can declare metadata in
haps.tomlwithout providing a build recipe. Optional recipes support ordinary commands, makepkg, named packages, and app bundles. - Codex and Claude reviewers can read public, pinned dependency sources without executing project scripts. Review results distinguish inspected source from unverified dependency coverage.
- Linux and macOS builds use a private home and writable checkout, with network access disabled by default.
--allow-build-networkexplicitly permits downloads and access to local network services.--allow-host-buildexplicitly permits trusted builds to use the host environment; Windows source execution currently requires this option. Installed applications are not sandboxed by Haps. - Output collection resists symlink replacement while files are copied, and enforces file and size limits.
- Interrupted package downloads get a bounded retry and clearer failure details. Relay publication completes after the first valid acknowledgement.
- Fixes a Windows command-dispatch stack overflow.
Bundles include checksum-pinned htree and git-remote-htree helpers. SHA256SUMS covers all five platform archives.
