Redirect people to the registry? #2720

Reviewing all the PRs to add servers is kinda tedious.
Describe the solution you'd like
Now that the MCP registry is launched in preview, maybe we want to send people over there to register servers and start to deprecate the long README list?
We might want to wait until after GA launch, not sure. But perhaps a nudge now even warning it's in preview might be beneficial to reduce load here + increase adoption of registry?
