Add a trusted publisher / code signing certificate for PowerDocu
#218
First of all, thank you for creating PowerDocu. It looks like a very useful tool for Power Platform documentation and governance.
Unfortunately, I am unable to use it in my company environment because the executable is published without a trusted publisher/code signing certificate.
When launching PowerDocu.exe, Microsoft Defender SmartScreen reports:
"Unknown Publisher"
In many enterprise environments, including ours, applications without a trusted publisher are blocked by security policies and cannot be approved for installation.
Would it be possible to sign future releases with a code signing certificate?
This would make adoption much easier in corporate environments and would allow organizations with strict security requirements to use the tool.
In my case, I am the primary Power Platform developer supporting more than 1,000 employees, and PowerDocu could significantly improve documentation, governance, and maintenance processes.
