What's new

  • Menu bar item — a menu-bar dropdown mirrors the dashboard (sync status, archive stats, per-account quick sync, and global Sync/Pause controls). Its icon switches to the sync glyph while syncing. Toggle it off in Settings (⌘,); on by default.

Also includes everything since the first release: background sync with pause (global & per-account), per-account settings & folder selection, an interval scheduler, an Activity Log and Jobs view, account removal, global archive search, paging for large mailboxes, faster folder loading, and responsive layouts.

Install

  1. Download MailBackup-0.1.1.dmg below and open it; drag MailBackup to Applications.
  2. This build is not notarized — on first launch, right-click the app → Open → Open, or run xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/MailBackup.app.

Requires macOS 14 or later (Apple Silicon).
