Mesh transformation utilities for FEMTIC-based magnetotelluric inverse modeling.
MeshTran is a preprocessing toolkit that prepares spatial data and computational domains for FEMTIC (Y. Usui, 2015). It is not a replacement for FEMTIC's own utilities — it's a structured layer on top of them, meant to simplify coordinate transformations, domain definition, and mesh preparation from a single configuration file, instead of editing multiple preprocessing files by hand.
MeshTran is also the geometry and preprocessing layer of the broader MTIF (Magnetotelluric Inversion Framework) ecosystem.
This wiki is being written as the project evolves — some pages are more complete than others. Installation and Troubleshooting are still filling in.
