noticing this in different repos that use mongo-runner for tests. it seems there has been a change and we now need to enable sudo: required in the travis config to make these tests work.

Similar problem here: mongodb-js/collection-sample@3517fc7

* Update to node 6.3.1

* Try adding mongodb as a devDependency

* Try the boron LTS?

* Try sudo:required

Let’s see if Travis correctly replaces it to 6.9.x
