Fail to build under Linux/Mono with premake4.4beta5

Which version of premake is required?

You need the latest version of Premake since the C# backend on 4.4 is buggy and it seems is also missing some features we use.

Right, just compile the latest version from Mercurial and it should work.

I'm not sure but you might also need this pending pull, https://bitbucket.org/premake/premake-dev/pull-request/80/fixed-project-dependencies-for-c-projects/.

Hi

I'm currently stuck at building lib/Release_x64/CppSharp.dll. (lib/Release_x64/CppSharp.AST.dll has been built without error)

What I've done so far:

1. compile premake5 from source
2. execute premake5 --dotnet=mono --os=linux gmake in build/
3. edit build/gmake/CppSharp.AST.make:

I am experiencing the same issues though it seems off that the projects are being generated with 0 files to start.

The problem with generating projects with no files might be related to the pending pull requests I mentioned before. I will look into this soon.

Now that the OSX build is working, I'll be looking into Linux builds.

Finally had some time to take a look at this.

I've managed to build it in Linux and documented the build process I used in the getting started guide.

Hopefully one of you Linux users can give it a try and we can close this if it works for more people.
