[2.25.0] — 2026-10-22

Added

  • monograph_brief: one call from a task description to entry points, related docs and blast radius, advertised in the core MCP roster within the schema budget and referenced by task-start guidance (27aafc5, 5156207, 59985c8).
  • Scope-aware search ranks code before documentation, and an agents scope covers agent/skill registry nodes (386ad9c, ac67689).
  • TESTS edges: context and impact now name the tests covering a symbol (4683cf6); the index manifest is recorded per build and shown in stats (b6ecac7).
  • Semantic search: local embeddings fused with lexical ranking for plain-language queries, with a retrieval eval harness and stemmed symbol summaries (27d2fce, de221b3). doctor gains a graph-semantic check.
  • agent exec --attach sends files with the prompt (d7e3704); closes #679.
  • Graph builds report a progress heartbeat while inserting cached nodes, and per-phase elapsed time (#693, 43a05f8).
  • Sections orgs (orgrt): role sessions run at medium effort by default on claude and codex (a802686); the release org is rebuilt as a sections org with a small per-role startup context (#695, 4b35787); org creation learned the lessons of a real run and warns that codex file scopes are not enforced (d280702, ab15cb2); the contradictory "pin an explicit model" checklist warning is dropped (863bc1a).

Changed

  • Models resolve to the newest of each family instead of pinned ids (3d9b821), and Claude Fable / GPT Astra models are never assigned or routed (4aeefe6).
  • Claude Agent SDK bumped to 0.3.303 (Claude Code 2.1.303) (#678, feb9d85).
  • Default MCP tool count is generated in both READMEs; sections docs corrected as generally available (#690, a51ffb8; 48524df).

Fixed

  • agent-context approval of monoagent__automation_* actions is refused (#686, d6bfd11).
  • Read-only git calls in hooks no longer take .git/index.lock (#694, 407416d).
  • The [AGENT_RUNTIMES] line is kept when the runtime rescan fails (#691, 91dd24e).
  • monobrowse open no longer times out on pages with a persistent connection (#687, 0079455).
  • Semantic search no longer downloads a model implicitly; re-export edges to non-nodes no longer fail the build (49bcda8).
  • Dependency advisories: unpatched braces advisory ignored with justification; vite override bumped past the launch-editor advisory (#689, bb8498a).
