Installation

  1. Download the plugin and add it to the “/plugins/” folder (or the Premium Version)
  2. Downlaod SMLib and add this to the "/plugins/" folder
  3. Optional: Download PlaceholderAPI and add it to the “/plugins/” folder

  4. Start the server. The plugin automatically generates a new folder with standard files in “/plugins/StreamingModule/”

Setup

  1. Use the command “/sm streamer add [twitch channel name]”
  2. The twitch bot must be moderator of the twitch channel (in twitch chat: "/mod StreamingModule"). This must be done by the streamer
  3. Go live on Twitch and join the Minecraft server
  4. Execute the command “/twitch [your twitch name]”
ALL players (streamer AND viewers) must do this step once to connect to Twitch

Enable Twitch Chatbot Messages | ModuleKey

To activate the chatbot messages in the Twitch chat, the streamer must enable this. This can be done as follows (does not have to be live on twitch):

  1. The streamer must have been added as a streamer on the server
  2. Now the streamer must go to the Minecraft server and enter the command “/chatbot”. This will open a menu with a “ModuleKey” (this can be shown in the stream without any problems. Nobody except the streamer can do anything with it). The ModuleKey consists of a question mark and a short number (typically 3-4 numbers).
  3. The streamer must enter the ModuleKey (e.g.: ?1234) in HIS Twitch chat (with the question mark)
  4. If this has worked successfully, the bot responds with a message. If you enter the command again, you can see the status (activated or deactivated).

These steps only need to be done once by the streamer, unless the Twitch link between Twitch and Minecraft is changed.

Example for ModuleKey

Good to know

  • If you change the interval, please use the command “/sm reload force” (with force) to change the background processes to the new values as well.
  • The streamer must be listed under "/online" to give drops. The live status will be updated every 5 minutes (fix value). Only in the premium version, you can use "/sm livecheck" to update the live status directly.
