Sorry for the late reply. MTEX 7.1 raised this error whenever it did not find a surface mesh where it expected one, either because the file has none or because DREAM3D-NX stores it under different names. MTEX 7.2 locates the data by the names of the data sets, and computes the grains from the voxel data for a file without a mesh, i.e., Meshes of the current DREAM3D-NX additionally need the fix of #2633: lines 50-51 of Ralf. |

Uh oh!
There was an error while loading. Please reload this page.
I'm having a error when trying to load a .dream3d file.
here is the code I'm using(Is the same that is on the 3d gains topic on the documentation but I changed the file path to my local file):
It says that the file does not contain grain information but I loaded the file on a HDF viewer and it does have both pixel information and grain data (looked it in this website:https://hdfviewer.com/)
I also loaded the file on Paraview and it does work fine.
Here you can donwload a small example data set:https://github.com/joaonado/small-dream-3d-example-data-set
I used MTEX6.1 and MTEX6.1.1
I'm running MATLAB R2025a
If someone has any idea on how to solve this problem please let me know.
