Following discussion at:

https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/alaveteli-users/ktmeb-QCRY4

add more links to:

/categorise/play

Encourage users to categorise requests as well by:

  • Perhaps more prominence to the leaderboard?
  • Prompting site admins to send hard working users prizes?

When talking about local FOI in mysociety/whatdotheyknow-theme#416 we had the idea of a "meter" of request classification:

This idea was also mentioned in the thread above.

It would be cool to do this, and then have a link to the classification game at the bottom of the popover as a way of improving the amount of requests classified.

We do actually promote this, but only for a single request. If you're signed in, we ask you to classify old requests:

The problem is when you classify an old request, we just say "thanks"

That message should have a link to the game so that you can do more if you feel like it.

We should also say something like "or you can help us classify this request: sign in" when you're viewing an old unclassified while not signed in:

Could add "Help classify requests →" to the request list page in a similar way to #6183.
