Correct classic Mitsubishi FX device addressing, including octal X/Y labels, special M/D registers, counter contacts, and 32-bit counters. Validate device and transfer boundaries, and split batch requests at 64 bytes using actual contiguous byte addresses.

Reject malformed, ambiguous, and buffered replies. The legacy retry option remains accepted but commands are no longer automatically replayed. After an ambiguous failure, create a new client with a new clean transport before continuing; a valid NAK leaves the synchronized client usable.

Add manual-conformance tests and document the supported register profile. Validation uses simulated peers and manual examples; physical PLC validation remains pending.

Validation: all 21 tests pass. The release tarball installs successfully, loads through ESM and CommonJS, and its TypeScript declarations compile for strict NodeNext ESM and CommonJS consumers.
