Preview and resume DL Problem

"Slackass" found another bug. When clicking the Preview icon to view a small file (pic, read me, etc) it brings up the internal errors. Then it shuts down. Then when he relogged his partitial d/l wouldn't resume. 

He runs 10.11.6

EDIT:
With 10.12 and 10.13 no Problems.
