Clips up to 60 seconds (#185)
--secondsgoes up to 60. A clip longer than the 8 s a video model makes at once is made in parts. Each part starts on the last frame of the one before, and ffmpeg joins them into one clip without a visible seam.- From a start to an end picture:
@start.png @end.png the flower opens --seconds 25. The last part goes to the end picture, so the clip ends exactly on it. - Through several pictures, in order:
@bud.png @half-open.png @open.png --seconds 25. The change toward each picture happens in the part that ends on it, so pictures along the way give the steps. /extend 4 --seconds 20adds more than 8 s the same way.- Esc keeps the parts made so far as a clip.
- Measured on an RTX 4080 Laptop (12 GB): a 25 s clip takes 9.4 minutes at
fastand 14.2 atbalanced.
Needs ffmpeg.
Fixed
lcode updateno longer ends inModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'rich._unicode_data…'after updating lcode itself. The update had worked; only its last message failed, and the Ollama update after it didn't run.- lcode now prepares what it will say before replacing its own files, and updates Ollama first.
- A git checkout keeps the Python it runs on.
- The update to 0.51.0 still runs 0.50.0's code, so it can show the error one last time. lcode is updated anyway: run
lcode update ollamafor the rest.
Upgrade with uv tool upgrade lcode-cli, pipx install --force lcode-cli or brew upgrade lcode.
