Alice Task Manager (Alice) is a desktop app for managing tasks, optimized for use via a Command Line Interface (CLI) while still having the benefits of a Graphical User Interface (GUI). If you can type fast, she can get your tasks done faster than traditional GUI apps.
This is a greenfield Java project in the CS2103T Software Engineering module, which is part of the curriculum of National University of Singapore (NUS).

Prerequisites: JDK 11, update Intellij to the most recent version.
- Open Intellij (if you are not in the welcome screen, click
File
>Close Project
to close the existing project first) - Open the project into Intellij as follows:
- Click
Open
. - Select the project directory, and click
OK
. - If there are any further prompts, accept the defaults.
- Click
- Configure the project to use JDK 11 (not other versions) as explained in here.
In the same dialog, set the Project language level field to theSDK default
option. - After that, locate the
src/main/java/alice/Alice.java
file, right-click it, and chooseRun Duke.main()
(if the code editor is showing compile errors, try restarting the IDE).
