Custom rotation policies: rotationStrategy: "custom" runs a user-supplied .mjsselect module in a bounded child process (four-way concurrency cap, 1 MiB input, 64 KiB output, one-second selection deadline) with environment and preload stripped. Policies validate offline through scripts/rotation-validate.js against scenario fixtures, feed account-scoped quota observations into host eligibility, and ship a /rotation package export for the policy contract. Fixed
codex-limits text reports now preserve every emitted field: banked reset credits render whenever the server reports them — including 0 banked, previously dropped — and the tool description pins complete-report semantics so agent summaries can no longer drop the 5-hour or resets columns the user asked for. (#291, thanks @lubshad)
Function tools sent to the Codex Responses backend now carry strict: false when the host left strictness unset — pinned in the shared transformRequestForCodex path (#294, thanks @SteveLTN) and in the OpenCode V2 adapter's language-model hook (#295). An omitted flag was treated as strict mode, making optional parameters effectively required so models fabricated values like the subagent sessionID and fresh subagent creation failed with Subagent session not found. (#293)
runRotationPolicy disarms the selection deadline the moment a complete result arrives, so the deadline can no longer fire inside the Windows taskkill teardown window and report timeout over a finished policy. (#292)
