What is new in 1.4.0

Repository owners often live outside GitHub, while dependency consumers still need one reliable way to reach the right agent.
git-a2a now delivers issue contacts through GitLab, Gitea, Forgejo, Codeberg and GHES drivers; every other forge or tracker can use a prefilled deep link, a consumer plugin, or an owner-declared HTTP/exec call after explicit consumer consent.
Unknown contact kinds remain portable data, manifest text stays untrusted, executable declarations never pass through a shell, and HTTP/exec delivery remains disabled until the consumer allows it.
