ESPEED32 v6.10
v6.10 focuses on making the controller easier to live with in practice: a cleaner main menu, a safer global PWM ceiling, and better support for external pots and internal-battery hardware variants.
Highlights
- Added
DISPLAY -> ADVANCEDwith defaultON - When
ADVANCEDisOFF, the main menu hidesFADE,PWM_F, andBRAKE+for a simpler everyday view - Stored car-profile values for those hidden items still remain active in the background
- Added global
PWM MAXprofiles:5 / 10 / 20 kHz - Car
PWM_Fvalues are now clamped consistently to the configured global PWM ceiling across controller UI and web tooling - Added optional
VBATas a selectable status-bar field
Hardware and Board Changes
- Standard/custom board profiles now place external pots on
ADC1pins:POT1=GPIO39POT2=GPIO35
- Normal track
VINsensing remains onGPIO36 - Added separate battery-monitor input on
GPIO15 - Standard
VBATscaling now assumes a100k / 100kdivider onGPIO15 - Added compile-time battery divider scaling in board profiles for custom hardware builds
Fixes and Polish
- Preserved display-menu scroll position when instant toggles are changed, so the menu no longer jumps around unexpectedly
- Cleaned up submenu edit-state handling in trigger/ext-pot settings
- Clarified README hardware wiring and
VBATterminology - Updated manuals in all supported languages
- Regenerated the web-served HTML docs
Notes
GPIO15isADC2, soVBATis intended as a non-drive-critical reading- While WiFi is active,
VBATmay stop refreshing and hold the last stable value instead of showing noisy garbage - Custom builders should verify
BOARD_BAT_RVIFBL/BOARD_BAT_RVIFBHif their battery divider differs from the standard100k / 100ksetup
