@networmix networmix released this 27 Oct 12:28

See CHANGELOG.md for the full 0.25.0 entry. Highlights:

  • Breaking: requires netgraph-core 0.12 (>=0.12.0,<0.13), the rebuilt engine. Inputs are rounded to whole units of a resolution q (automatic by default), so answers can differ from 0.24; delivered traffic, losses and link flows are reported in units.
  • Breaking: an analysis runs as run(prepare(scenario)). The library questions are capacity, place, paths, edge_sensitivity and maximum_supported_demand, with typed queries; analyze, AnalysisContext, FailureManager, Scenario.run and Scenario.results are removed.
  • Breaking: YAML demands and MaxFlow steps name a preset or a model instead of flow_policy, and presets are native models (TE_WCMP_UNLIM is renamed TE_MAXFLOW_UNLIM). Domain records are immutable, and every input field is checked where its object is built.
  • New: routing domains with a WCMP controller, failure states for placement (converged, stale, repair), interaction: simultaneous, TunnelCountAnalysis, and the ngraph.hardware inventory.
  • write_json and the CLI write compact JSON, and docs/reference/results.md documents every result field.
  • The bundled NSFNET scenario follows Merit's 1992 T3 map and node list, so its results differ from 0.24.1.
