Clean up NIM Known Issues: Remove closed “Won’t Fix” bugs

Description

The Known Issues documentation for NGINX Instance Manager included a number of issues marked as “Won’t Fix.”

Problem

  • A growing list of unmaintained bugs in the product docs made the product appear less stable than it is.
  • Several “Won’t Fix” issues had either been resolved in later versions, were no longer reproducible, or didn’t warrant a release note.
  • Leaving them in the docs created noise for users without providing real value.

Work Completed

  • Audited all “Won’t Fix” issues in nim/releases/known-issues.md.
  • Cross-checked against Jira:
    • Most issues were fixed in later versions or no longer reproducible.
    • One issue was explicitly noted as not requiring a release note.
  • Decided with the team that “Won’t Fix” issues with no ongoing customer impact should not be documented.
  • Removed all “Won’t Fix” issues from the Known Issues doc.

Outcome

  • The Known Issues page is now focused on current, actionable issues with meaningful workarounds or resolution information.
  • Reduces noise and improves user trust in the documentation.
  • Maintains alignment with product and Global Services processes for issue tracking.
