Overview
As a NGINX WAF user, I want a technical specifications page, So I can quickly review versions and product integrations.
Description
Across the entire NGINX product portfolio, Technical specifications is one of the most common pages available in every single documentation set.
At a glance, it gives the reader the ability to figure out what versions of the software are available, and what level of compatibility it might have with other products it integrates with.
NGINX WAF currently lacks this, which is a surface-level consideration for a new user if their preferred operating system or stack can use NGINX WAF or if they would have to deploy something new in order to take advantage of it.
Tasks
- Create a Technical specifications page
- Add a description about versions, or link to another reference
- Create a table for supported operating systems
- Create a table for supported integrations with other products
For this issue, there may be some leeway to integrate the structure of the page with the Changelog in mind, such as making the tables an include so a user can quickly scan for critical reference information from multiple places.
Acceptance criteria
- The user can find a technical specifications page quickly
- The user can see what versions of the software are available
- The user can see what compatibility exists between different versions of multiple products
