v0.2.0
A more compact editor with saved looks and controls that make visual exploration easier.
Visual editing
- Save, load, and duplicate named presets containing visual settings, a Lua scene reference, and scene parameters. Window, interface, volume, and device settings stay separate.
- Undo and redo visual edits, reset individual controls or groups, and see which controls differ from their defaults. Lua-owned values are marked and protected from host edits.
- Search the layer inspector, expand or collapse control groups, and solo a built-in layer without changing saved visibility.
- Edit hue, saturation, and brightness, reuse eight saved color swatches, and set separate spectrum tip/body colors.
- Smaller margins, rows, and player controls leave more room for the scene while retaining UI scaling, scrolling, and resizable panels.
Fixes
- Dropping an invalid audio file keeps the current playback or capture source.
- Abandoned waveform previews observe cancellation between decode chunks. The player distinguishes a pending preview from an unavailable waveform.
- Vector equality correctly distinguishes unequal values.
- Audio analysis preserves transients across render stalls.
Notes
- Open Presets / 7 or Layers / 8. Use Ctrl/Cmd+Z to undo, Ctrl/Cmd+Shift+Z to redo, and right-click a control to reset it.
- Native presets and swatches save to
presets.jsonbesidesettings.conf. External Lua scenes remain file references; keep those files available. - The browser build remains experimental. Presets are session-only there, and Lua scenes and live capture require the native app.
- Source builds require Zig 0.16.0.
