Owned-input setup release for Kileak: The DNA Imperative (USA, SCUS-94102).

Highlights:

  • Adds verified support for the PowerA Advantage Wired Controller for Nintendo Switch 2 (VID 20D6, PID A720).
  • Expands setup, controls, compatibility, build, reporting, and public-release documentation.
  • Uses OpenBIOS and generates all game code locally from the user's legally obtained matching disc.

Verification:

  • Windows 10/11 x86-64 RelWithDebInfo build completed.
  • Live SDL/TCP check: controller enumerated and opened for Player 1 (host_joysticks: 1, host_open: true).
  • OpenBIOS reached guest execution.
  • Public ZIP audit passed: 1,825 files, with no disc data, extracted executable, generated game code, memory card, save state, capture, or analysis database.

2026-09-02 setup configuration update

The setup ZIP now includes default_mode = "digital", lock_mode = true, and allow_hybrid = false, while retaining p1_device = "gamepad".

Only game.toml changed inside the archive; all executable and other file contents are identical to the prior v0.1.1 setup ZIP. TOML assertions and the 1,825-file public-content audit passed. This configuration-only refresh was not a new gameplay validation run.

The corresponding source change is commit 36cbac5 on main. The original v0.1.1 Git tag is unchanged; GitHub's automatic tag-based source archives therefore retain the original configuration.

Initial public Windows x86-64 release of KTDIR, a data-free PSXRecomp project for Kileak: The DNA Imperative (USA, SCUS-94102).

This release contains no game disc image, generated game code, memory cards, captures, Ghidra analysis data, or retail PlayStation BIOS. OpenBIOS is included under its MIT license.

To play, download KTDIR-setup-0.1.0-windows-x64.zip, extract it, run KTDIR-Setup.exe, and provide your own legally obtained Redump-style Kileak USA disc when prompted. The setup host validates the disc and generates/builds the required game code locally.
