New in the spec files are - Profiles (only compatibility at the moment) - Returntypes: Float32, Path and UInt64 - Dlflag: prepad

Quite some changes to you're original parser to get it a bit up-to-date. Apart from making it compatible with newer versions of GHC the spec format has changed. The pulled version is the normal (non performance version) that I use for parsing the current specs in my projects (so it works).
