This website displays the New York Times' top stories in the World, U.S., Health, and Technology and, the goal is to use filters to narrow articles that are of interest to a user in a fast and efficient manner. Filters help accomplish this goal by allowing users to narrow down articles through sections, subsections, and time range. Furthermore, users can filter articles by using specific keywords such as article title, authors' name, and non-stop words from the abstract.

To view the about or home page, click through the page's navigation links in the upper right corner. In addition to the home page link, to reload the page, click on the website name or globe icon.

The filter bar allows users to choose sections, subsections, and time range to narrow down articles. Once a user clicks the filter button, the website will only display articles that match the sections/subsections within the given time range. These filtered articles remain displayed until the page reloads or a user clicks on the reset button. Furthermore, we can further narrow these results by using the search bar and using keywords.
