ViberVN Bot v0.3.0

  • Teach a task. In Show computer, add an optional note and press Start: you take control of the browser under a red frame, and every click, typed text, key and page change is recorded with a screenshot. Passwords, one-time codes and card numbers are recorded as hidden. On Stop, the agent turns the recording into a saved skill and tells you its name.

  • Proof of browser work. When the agent used the browser during a reply, a screenshot of its tab appears under the reply; click it to enlarge, or open Show computer from the link.

  • The browser stays signed in. Each bot keeps one persistent browser profile, and a local browser stays open for 30 idle minutes, so logins and open pages survive between tasks.

  • The agent can now close the browser it opened, instead of hunting for browser processes. It never kills a browser you connected (it only disconnects), and it no longer closes the desktop app by mistake.

Install

ViberVN Bot v0.3.0. The installers are not signed by a trusted publisher; each OS shows a warning you accept once.

Windows 11 22H2+ (x64): download ViberVN-signing.cer and the .msix. Trust the certificate once, in PowerShell as Administrator:
Import-Certificate -FilePath .\ViberVN-signing.cer -CertStoreLocation Cert:\LocalMachine\TrustedPeople
then open the .msix and choose Install.

macOS 13+: arm64 is Apple Silicon, x64 is Intel. Open the .dmg and drag the app to Applications. macOS blocks it the first time: open System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway, or run
xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine "/Applications/ViberVN Bot.app".
If it still reports the app as damaged, sign it locally once:
codesign --force --deep --sign - "/Applications/ViberVN Bot.app".

Linux: chmod +x the .AppImage for your architecture and run it.

  • Downloads, the install guide and new versions now live at https://get.viber.vn. The app's "download the latest installer", docs and help links open it.

  • The model catalog, the Skills and Plugins catalogs and MCP OAuth sign-in now load from get.viber.vn.

  • The app ships without developer-only files, so the install is leaner.

  • Reinstall hints in the CLI and the remote-host setup message point to the installers instead of a script that no longer works.
