we're starting again on translations of the Nuxt docs, with French as the first language. 🎉
Important
🚧 this is a work-in-progress, and I'm building diglot in parallel.
this repository now holds the translations. they're maintained with diglot, which splits each docs page into small segments and stores one translation per segment.
the idea is that text that appears on several pages or in several Nuxt versions only has to be translated once, and when a page changes in
nuxt/nuxt, only the segments that changed need new work.the docs come from
nuxt/nuxt,nuxt/cliandnuxt/fonts.how it works
machine translation is a starting point, not the goal, and it can also be switched off entirely for a language once there are enough people reviewing it.
how you can help
fr/segments/and open a PR with corrections (the README explains the record format). an editor on nuxt.com is on its way, which should make this a lot easier.glossary.yml,fr/glossary.ymlandfr/style.ymlare very welcome, here or as a PR. getting these right early saves a lot of corrections later.questions, ideas and feedback on how this works are all welcome in this thread ❤️
