Nyra SDK 1.0.4

Published from prequalified artifacts; no tool rebuild or complete-suite rerun is part of publication.

Changes

  • Native nyra new/init and VS Code entry points create applications/libraries safely.
  • Portable Git dependencies, workspace pointers and locks work across moved/offline checkouts.
  • Compiler fixes cover borrowed string indexing, generic method definitions and nested private layouts.
  • Compiler/support modules have explicit ownership and operation boundaries.
  • Ntest now borrows message bytes through a runner output provider, without a temporary message allocation or direct puts call.
  • CPU/ABI freestanding bundles and OS/CPU hosted runtime bundles are separately downloadable.
  • Bootstrap selection uses pinned archive URLs and hashes; default adoption follows publication.

Scope

Native tool downloads: macOS arm64/x86_64, Linux x86_64 and Windows x86_64.
Ten separate runtime bundles cover eighteen profiles. Physical machines were used where
available, then simulators/emulators, then compilation-only evidence. The complete
compiler suites are reused; publication does not rebuild or rerun accepted tools.
The newly compiled host source worksets do not imply downloadable host executables.
See ACCEPTANCE-1.0.4.json for the exact execution level of each runtime target.

Integrity

Release assets include SHA256SUMS, ACCEPTANCE.json, RELEASE-INDEX.json and per-host metadata.
Verify the archive before extraction. macOS tools retain ad-hoc signatures; Developer ID
signing/notarization and actual macOS 14 execution are not claimed.

Nyra SDK 1.0.3

@tangxiangjiang tangxiangjiang released this 28 Oct 14:28

Nyra SDK 1.0.3 adds the native nyra package manager, workspace resolution, portable dependency locks, managed Git caches and package distribution tools.

Desktop-only release: four host SDKs (macOS arm64, macOS x86_64, Linux x86_64 and Windows x86_64). Each archive contains its corresponding native desktop runtime target, not the cross-target catalog supplied in SDK 1.0.2. SDK 1.0.2 remains available for that catalog. Runtime packages kernel, ntest and stdlib retain version 1.0.0.

Known issue: the frozen 1.0.3 compiler can incorrectly require an application origin pin for stdlib's SDK-internal kernel edge when loading portable Git locks. The correction belongs to 1.0.4 and is not included here. The published HTTP/TLS Git-consumer graph requires the corrected 1.0.4 tools.

These are the original accepted desktop tools and runtime bytes. Existing four-host acceptance is reused; publication does not rebuild tools or repeat qualification. Each host completed three 498-case regression generations, 1,043 package unit tests, and separate exact-SDK regression/unit/self-rebuild acceptance. Hosts have separately frozen source provenance.

macOS deployment target: 14.0; actual macOS 14 execution was not performed. No mobile/RISC-V execution, signing or notarization is claimed. Embedded libgit2 1.9.7 uses static OpenSSL. SSH Git acquisition, remote registry/version-range resolution and SDK self-update remain out of scope.

Nyra SDK v1.0.2

@tangxiangjiang tangxiangjiang released this 28 Oct 01:12

Nyra SDK v1.0.2
Source: 44c7223c571fc964d3c159410d6467db8b260181

Fix premature retirement of returned ARC-backed move-only owners and selected variant-arm ownership checks. Include implicit SDK runtime dependency resolution and aligned compiler/analyzer identities. Build macOS Intel LLVM 21.1.8 from checksum-pinned official sources using Apple Clang. Full four-host clean-source bootstrap, fixed-point, regression, unit and SDK export gates are required before publication. Recognize distribution ICU dependencies of Linux libxml2 while requiring system library paths.

Unsigned and not notarized. macOS x86_64 execution environment is recorded in release.json.

@tangxiangjiang tangxiangjiang released this 26 Oct 07:19

Nyra SDK 1.0.1

Distribution patch with macOS Intel support and a corrected SDK library set.

  • SDK packages: kernel, ntest, stdlib. JSON and YAML are independent ecosystem packages; their licenses remain for dependencies embedded in the tools.
  • macOS arm64 and x86_64: compiler and analyzer rebuilt as 1.0.1 with macOS 14.0 deployment targets; matching kernel/ntest/stdlib/platform archives are included. The native macOS default also uses 14.0; explicit --llvm-target and MACOSX_DEPLOYMENT_TARGET remain available.
  • Linux x86_64 and Windows x86_64: reuse the unchanged 1.0.0 tool binaries, add ntest, and remove JSON/YAML package directories. SDK version and individual tool versions are recorded separately.
  • Each SDK contains eleven target runtime profiles. Freestanding RISC-V profiles provide kernel only. Cross runtime rows provide libraries, not device execution acceptance.
  • Intel LLVM tools include relocated LLVM/Clang/LLD, Z3 and Zstd dependencies, with their licenses. Nyra compiler/analyzer statically link LLVM.

Validation scope

This release intentionally performs build and packaging checks only: archive/file SHA-256, allowed public payload, package closure, object architecture and macOS deployment load commands. The ARM tools' version commands were checked. Bootstrap generations, regression suites and unit suites were not rerun. Intel execution and execution on macOS 14 were not performed; minimum deployment metadata is not an execution receipt. See each archive's share/nyra/packaging-evidence.json.

macOS tools are ad-hoc signed, without Apple Developer ID signing or notarization. Windows publisher signing is not provided. Verify downloads against SHA256SUMS; see installation instructions.

Compiler/frontend/analyzer implementation sources are not distributed. SDK use is free for commercial and personal projects; redistribution is permitted for the complete, unmodified SDK under its binary license. Component licenses continue to apply.

@tangxiangjiang tangxiangjiang released this 25 Oct 16:24

Nyra SDK 1.0.0

First stable binary SDK release. The compiler and analyzer implementations remain
private. The SDK is free for personal and commercial use; redistribution of a
complete unmodified SDK is permitted under the included license. Third-party
component licenses remain in force.

Downloads

Choose the archive matching the computer that runs the compiler:

  • nyra-sdk-1.0.0-darwin-arm64.tar.gz
  • nyra-sdk-1.0.0-linux-x86_64.tar.gz
  • nyra-sdk-1.0.0-windows-x86_64.zip

Each archive includes nyrac, nyra-analyzer, LLVM 21.1.8 tools/headers/static
libraries, runtime packages, component notices, inventories and package locks.
LLVM is statically linked into the compiler. The archive contains required
runtime interfaces and generic recipes; compiler implementation sources and
private source-debug sidecars are excluded.

All three archives contain ten runtime profiles: macOS arm64, Linux x86_64,
Windows x86_64, Android arm64/x86_64 API 28, iOS arm64 and Simulator arm64 iOS 15.0,
Linux RV64GC/LP64D, freestanding RV64GC/LP64D, and NyraOS RV64IMAC/LP64. Freestanding
profiles supply kernel/provider contracts. The macOS archive also includes the
iOS NyraRuntime XCFramework. Mobile and foreign rows are library catalogs, not
compilers runnable on those devices. External NDK/Apple SDK/sysroot/CRT inputs
are needed for final application links; device/OS boot execution is not claimed.

Acceptance

The public acceptance.json binds the exact archive and compiler hashes to
native generation, regression, unit, relocation and debugger checks. Each host
passes three generations of 488 regression cases with identical G2/G3 compilers.
The exact packaged compiler additionally passes all 488 regressions, 1,037 unit
tests and a byte-identical self-rebuild using its packaged LLVM kit. Extracted,
moved SDKs pass offline compilation, execution and analysis with source fallback
disabled. Source breakpoints, stepping and parameter/local inspection pass with
macOS LLDB, Linux GDB and Windows LLDB.

Linux bootstrap regression and final-product regression use the documented
900-second per-case timeout floor. Windows golden fixture bytes are restored
from the locked Git commit to avoid checkout CRLF conversion. Its generated
program cleanup tests use a bounded one-second retry only for Windows
PermissionDenied; the fix passes 100 repeated checks and retains the cleanup
assertion. No behavior case is skipped for these conditions.

Requirements and limitations

macOS arm64 requires macOS 27.0+ (accepted on 27.0.1) and Xcode Command Line
Tools/system SDK. Linux was accepted on AlmaLinux 10.0 x86_64; its tools require
GLIBC 2.34, GLIBCXX 3.4.30 and CXXABI 1.3.13 symbols, zlib/libxml2 and system
dependencies. Windows was accepted on Windows 11 x64 build 26300.9711; native
application linking requires Visual Studio C++ Build Tools and a Windows SDK.
POSIX LLVM query wrappers require Python 3. Earlier/unlisted environments are
not covered by these native execution receipts.

This release has no Developer ID distribution signature/notarization or
Windows Authenticode attestation. Release records explicitly state
signing: not-attested; macOS link-time ad-hoc signing is not a distribution
identity attestation. Gatekeeper or SmartScreen may display a warning. Use the
official GitHub release and verify its SHA-256 checksums before deciding to run
the tools.

See installation instructions
and verify the complete SHA-256 entry in SHA256SUMS before extracting. The
per-host release records include each SDK manifest hash. Language/compiler
capabilities are frozen for the 1.0–1.2 stabilization period. Kernel/stdlib are
1.0.0, JSON is independently versioned 0.19.0, YAML 0.18.0 and incorporated nllvm
bindings 0.40.0. Existing JSON/YAML MIT and LLVM notices are included.
