First release.

Fixes the Apple Magic Mouse going dead after upgrading to macOS 27: it shows Connected with a battery level, but the cursor never moves. MagicMouseFix sends the one startup message Apple's driver no longer sends, and the driver then finishes its own setup. Pointer, clicks, scrolling and gestures all work natively again.

Install

  1. Download MagicMouseFix-1.0.0.zip below and unzip it.
  2. Move MagicMouseFix.app to Applications and open it.
  3. Turn on MagicMouseFix in System Settings > Privacy & Security > Input Monitoring.

Signed with a Developer ID and notarized by Apple, so it opens without Gatekeeper warnings.

Tested on

Magic Mouse 2 (Lightning, product ID 0x0269, firmware 1.9.2) on macOS 27.0 (26A428), Apple silicon. Universal binary (Apple silicon + Intel).
