Your installation is behaving as the released CLI is currently implemented: skills is not a root AgentSeek command. In v0.0.4 (and v0.0.5), the root command layout registers create, dev, info, doctor, and task; version is registered separately. There is no skills group: v0.0.5 runtime.py.

Use the external skills CLI instead. On Windows, with Node.js/npm installed:

npx skills add ob-labs/agentseek --all --global

For a project-local installation, omit --global. You can inspect what will be installed first with:

npx skills add ob-labs/agentseek --list

Also, version is a subcommand in this Typer CLI, so your working command is the right one:

agentseek version

not agentseek --version.

There is some documentation inconsistency here: skills/README.md still advertises agentseek skills, while the released command registration does not provide it. The newer lifecycle guidance explicitly treats skill installation as external tooling and shows npx skills add ...: Run Project Tasks. So upgrading alone will not make the root skills command appear; use npx skills until the docs and CLI surface are reconciled.
