Migrate from Wordpress to Github pages

  • Migrate redirects ... (cf dataprotocols.org for how we did this with a template)
• Migrate theme
  • Basic css etc
  • Sidebars etc
• CNAME
• Migrate DNS

Additional, possible, related changes

• Change /update/ to /news/ or /blog/ (more normal)
  • will need redirect

@mlinksva what do you reckon we have left? My main concern was redirects etc? Once that was done I'd like to switch over to this as main site and continue tweaking as needed.

I had already hardcoded the redirects which were present in configuration for the wordpress redirection addon. I don't have any feeling as to whether blog or news or update... As far as I'm concerned it is ready to replace wordpress site and be improved from there.

I see from IRC that @rgrp made the site live. FWIW that means OD 2.0 is now live -- I moved @hlainchb 's 2.0 change on master to gh-pages (which is where all work should be done now IIUC). I will close this issue. Further improvements can get specific issues.
