Songs from the catalog can be streamed instead of downloaded, and playlists can be made from one song.

New

• 🎧 Stream from the catalog. Pick one download extension to stream with, and its quality, in Settings › Ekstensi. Tapping a song in the catalog then plays it straight away: from the library when it is already downloaded, otherwise through a temporary cache (at most 1 GB, the songs played longest ago go first) without adding it to the library. The songs after it in the list play on, the next one fetched while the current one plays.
• 🔀 Mix. Make a playlist of up to 30 songs from one song: its artists' songs and those of the artists they sing with. Start it from the button on a catalog song, on a song's cover on the catalog home, or with Buat mix in Playlist. Progress shows in the bell.
• ➕ Save any catalog page as a playlist. Albums, artists, the extensions' playlists and mixes have Simpan sebagai playlist, artwork included.
• ▶️ Playlists stream the songs not yet downloaded. Tap one or press Putar: the downloaded songs play first, then the rest streams. The song playing is marked like the others.
• 🗄️ A Cache tab in Settings for the film cache and the streamed songs, each folded until opened, with songs to pick and delete.

Changed

• The catalog marks downloaded songs with a small check instead of a play button, rows scroll with ‹ › buttons beside their title (swipe on phones and tablets), and an album, artist or playlist opens at its top.
• A playlist's song count includes the songs not yet downloaded.
• Settings opens on Tentang, now the first tab.

iOS opens and plays films again, and films the computer app repairs start more reliably.

Fixed

• 🍎 iOS no longer closes at launch. The VLC engine the film player is built on is now part of the app, and the app no longer uses VLC's clock in place of the system's, which made it stop as soon as it opened.
• 🤖 Android films with subtitles start. Films with the extensions' subtitles failed to start in the Android player; they play now, subtitles shown.
• 👆 iOS player controls come back with a tap. Once hidden, the controls (play, seek, subtitle, audio, close) never returned; a tap on the picture shows them again.

• 🛠️ Repaired films start more reliably. The film's host gets the same headers when the app repairs a film with ffmpeg, a first try that takes too long is tried once more (by then part of the film is already on disk), and ffmpeg runs at a lower priority so the app stays smooth while it works.

Fixed

• 🍎 iOS is back. v0.3.7 couldn't be built for iOS; this release has it, with films playing in VLC's engine (MKV, HEVC, AC3/DTS, the extensions' subtitles) instead of the WebView. Everything else is as in v0.3.7.
• 🗣️ Dubbing in repaired films. Films the app player repairs with ffmpeg kept only their first audio track; now every track comes along and can be picked under Audio & subtitle, named by its title or language.

Films play far more often: phones get a real video player, and the computer app repairs what its player can't read.

New

• 📱 A native film player on phones. On Android films play in ExoPlayer, on iOS in VLC's engine, instead of the WebView: MKV, HEVC, AC3/DTS and more, with the extensions' subtitles and audio tracks to pick from. The place you stopped is kept, like before.
• ▶️ Pemutar lain on phones. Films can open in VLC, MX Player or Just Player on Android, and VLC or Infuse on iOS, with the stream's headers and the extensions' subtitles sent along.
• 🛠️ Films the app player refuses are repaired. When a film has no picture or won't load within 5 seconds, ffmpeg repackages it on the fly, and HEVC 10-bit is converted so it plays in the app.

Changed

• 💬 Subtitles by language name. Outside players (mpv, VLC, MX…) now list subtitles as "Inggris 2 - …" like the app's menu, not file ids, and all of them are sent, not only 30. The one you picked last shows from the start.
• ⚠️ Clear error messages. When a film can't be fetched, the app says what the source answered (not found, refused, server busy…) instead of a vague format error.
• 🪟🍎 ffmpeg on Windows and macOS. ffmpeg installed with winget, Scoop, Chocolatey, Homebrew or MacPorts is found even when the app is opened from the Start menu or Finder, runs without a console window, and the app says how to install it when it's missing.

Films from addons that need their own request headers play now, and the film cache can be tidied one film at a time.

Fixed

• ▶️ Sources that kept loading. Many addons give links that only answer with the headers they name (a Referer, an Origin or a User-Agent), and Stremio sends those. Neptunus didn't, so those links never started. They are sent now, also when you resume from Lanjutkan.
• 📏 Cache size counted right. A film downloaded only in part counted as its whole length, so older films were cleared from the cache too early and Settings showed more than was used. Both now count what really came down.

New

• 🗂️ Cached films list. Settings › Lokal › Cache film lists the films in the cache with their size, how much came down and when you last played them. Tick the ones to remove, or pick them all. Films cached before this version show as "Tanpa judul".

This release replaces v0.3.4, which had the same changes but still called itself 0.3.3.

Films pick up where you left them, and come back with their picture after the phone was locked.

Fixed

• ⏯️ Resume from the wrong place. A film sometimes started again from the beginning, and lost the place you had reached. The place was saved once more right as the film opened, before it had jumped there, and iPhones sometimes skip a jump made that early. Neptunus now waits until the film is really at your place before saving anything, and tries the jump again when it was skipped.
• 🔁 Finished films start over. A film you watched into the credits (over 95%, or the last 10 seconds) starts from the beginning when you play it again, and shows as watched in Lanjutkan menonton.
• 🍎 Black picture after locking the iPhone. Pausing a film, locking the screen and playing again could leave the picture black while the sound went on. Coming back to the app now redraws the picture.

The film catalogs open faster and stay smooth on phones.

Fixed

• 🎬 Lag when opening the film catalogs. Every catalog row built all of its 50 to 100 posters at once, so a page with a few rows put hundreds of cards on screen while a phone shows three per row. Rows now start with a handful and add more as you swipe along them, and rows further down wait until you scroll near them. The catalogs show up about twice as fast and the app stays responsive while they load.

Neptunus v0.3.0

Neptunus is now one player for your music and your films, on the desktop and on your phone. This release adds a place for what you watch: films and series you save, and the ones you were in the middle of.

New

• 🔖 Bookmarks. Tap Simpan on a film or series page to keep it. Everything saved sits in a Disimpan row at the top of the video catalogs.
• ⏯️ Continue watching. A Lanjutkan menonton row shows the titles you played last, with how far you got and the episode you were on ("S1E3 · sisa 24:00"). Tapping one opens its page with that episode already picked.
• ▶️ One-tap resume. A title you played before gets a Lanjutkan button on its page that plays the same source again from where you stopped.
• 🎯 Resume follows the film, not the link. Where you stopped is kept per film or episode, so it still resumes there after you pick another source because the old link expired.

Both rows can be tidied with the × on each poster. They are kept on each device.
