Fix bundled speech startup when an older standalone Conomo service is running. Memo now lets its bundled worker select a private, versioned runtime socket instead of connecting to the standalone service. This prevents the recurring “Conomo runtime or model version changed” startup error.

Includes a signed and notarized macOS installer and self-contained automatic update.

Fixed

• Open Memo's bundled speech runtime now starts independently of standalone Conomo and Memo Agent services. An older service installed on the same Mac no longer blocks speech startup.
• Runtime code and model updates use a separate compatible socket, avoiding collisions with speech services left running from a previous version.
• Installer validation now tests default startup with an incompatible older speech service present.

The macOS installer and update ZIP include the Python runtime and verified speech model. No separate Conomo installation is required.

Validation

The release workflow verifies the mounted DMG, bundled speech and punctuation workers, Developer ID signatures, Gatekeeper acceptance, and notarization. The runtime regression suite and main-branch CI pass.

Mac requirements: Apple silicon, macOS 15 or newer.
