This is the starting point for Omarchy on ARM computers. Omarchy builds one installer image and one Linux kernel for every ARM computer it supports, and each family has its own discussion for what works on it.
Updated 21 October 2026.
Where things stand
One installer image. Since 16 October Omarchy builds an ARM installer image every night, next to the one for Intel and AMD PCs (latest nightly image). It carries every family's packages and picks the right ones during the install. Before each image is published, Omarchy's automatic tests install it in a virtual machine, as a plain ARM computer and as an NVIDIA N1x laptop.
One kernel. Every ARM computer uses Omarchy's own kernel, linux-omarchy, on Linux 7.3 since 27 October (omarchy-pkgs #1417).
Edge channel only. ARM support comes from Omarchy's edge channel, the testing channel where new packages arrive first. The stable channel doesn't have it yet.

Install from the ARM image. Models and what works on them are in the family's discussion.
Install from the ARM image. On the Spark, USB works since linux-omarchy 7.2.8-13 (omarchy-pkgs #1160), and the restarts when idle stopped with 7.2.8-22 (#1191).
latest.json lists the newest ARM image and its checksum. Download the image and its .sha256 file from the same folder, check that the download is complete with sha256sum -c, and write the image to a USB stick.
Read your family's discussion first. Some families have steps to take before or after installing.
The installer erases the whole disk you choose, so make recovery media for any other system first, and only install on a computer you can afford to set up again.
The installed system gets its packages from the edge channel and updates with omarchy update.
The screen can stay black for a few minutes before the Omarchy logo appears. If it stays black, report the computer model, the image version and anything shown before the screen went dark.
To build the image yourself, run bin/omarchy-iso-make --arch aarch64 --edge in a copy of omarchy-iso's quattro branch (build instructions). Add --local-source <omarchy> <omarchy-pkgs> to build Omarchy's own packages from local copies.

Report results in your family's discussion, with the computer model, firmware or BIOS version, image version, and whether you tested from the USB stick or an installed system. If your computer has no discussion yet, comment here.
