- Latest Dropbox app installed from the App Store
Description
Unable to open Dropbox folder. Files work, folders not. See attached videos:
Behavior equals , except that there's no alert on iPhone that the Pythonista is unable to open file. (UPDATE: Alert no longer appears on iPad.)
Steps to reproduce
- Reveal file browser
- EXTERNAL FILES, tap on Open...
- Hit Select in the file browser and select some Dropbox folder and then tap on the Open
- Pythonista reveals itself and it looks like file was opened (in my case apps)
- Reveal file browser again, but before you do, focus your eyes on EXTERNAL FILES where you can see that the folder is there, but immediately disappears when the file browser appears
Other applications
There's no issue with other applications like Working Copy or folders from iCloud Drive. Probably Dropbox issue, but it's worth to investigate. I can't say more from the iPad alert (or silence on iPhone). You have access to specific error codes, etc. so you can check what's wrong.
If this is Dropbox issue, feel free to close it, but let us know. In the meanwhile, I marked it as pythonista bug. Thanks.
