OpenAgent Tools beta 2 adds an independently runnable Meta Ads MCP package derived from the MIT-licensed upstream 1.5.1 server.

The write-enabled catalog now contains 55 tools, including meta_ads_upload_ad_video. The new tool accepts public HTTP(S) video URLs, converts Google Drive sharing links into direct downloads, and returns the video_id used by meta_ads_create_ad_creative. It remains opt-in through META_ADS_ENABLE_WRITE_TOOLS=true and is not registered automatically by OpenAgent.

Validation:

  • 6 Meta Ads package tests, including a real MCP stdio handshake
  • 55-tool catalog from the packed release artifact
  • 14 Python tool tests passed, 1 platform-specific test skipped
  • npm audit: 0 known vulnerabilities
  • clean source snapshot with SHA-256 manifest
