Repository navigation
v0.19.3
Highlights
- More reliable sessions: protect imported history, retry failed checkpoints, and preserve accepted settings and correct ownership across replacement and resume.
- Complete output and cleanup: receive large queued responses, retain diagnostics after disconnects, and wait for terminal cleanup while allowing completed flow commands to exit.
- Replay viewer usability: improve attempt navigation, conversation following, graph edges, tool status, and layouts on narrower screens.
Fixes
- Windows/authentication: preserve inherited credential values when auth aliases use different environment-variable casing.
- Replay viewer: let arrow keys select previous and next attempts without snapping back on every key release, and keep playback running when tabbing into the scrubber.
- Replay viewer: reapply follow centering when a graph viewport is replaced, even when its target and layout identifiers are unchanged.
- Replay viewer: restore conversation auto-follow on session changes and replay resume, and preserve upward keyboard or scrollbar scrolling after content updates that do not move the pane.
- Sessions/filesystem: update fs-safe to 0.18.1 so lock waits use elapsed time across system-clock adjustments and temporary output storage uses verified directory ownership. Thanks @vincentkoc.
- Sessions/import: publish imported history before making its session discoverable, so a failed history write does not leave a partial session that blocks retrying the archive.
- Sessions/journal: retry captures changed by rotation without skipping retained events or reporting false corruption, and preserve reader progress when a page fails or is cancelled.
- Sessions/checkpoints: keep failed saves pending so later flushes retry current state without losing updates or allowing replacement to bypass persistent storage failures.
- Runtime/shutdown: drain retained and retiring session checkpoints, wait for every owner's cleanup, and report failures instead of silently succeeding after persistence errors.
- Windows/processes: resolve relative batch commands and PATH entries from the selected child cwd for adapter launches, terminal commands, and native Claude executable discovery.
- Sessions/shutdown: keep graceful queue-owner cleanup and lease release protected on macOS and Linux when another stop signal arrives, including while startup is still acquiring ownership.
- Sessions/queue: receive complete large events and accumulated session records without failing at the old client buffer ceiling, while preserving owner output-backlog limits and unknown-outcome errors after disconnection.
- Replay viewer: keep earlier attempt timing stable when later output grows in the same session by weighting only the selected attempt's recorded messages.
- Replay viewer: mark the selected ACP conversation slice while paused without hiding surrounding messages or moving them when selection changes.
- Replay viewer: keep forward branch merges solid and correctly ranked, and style return edges from their final layout direction while preserving loops and unused graph components.
- Flow shell actions no longer keep a completed CLI alive when a surviving descendant inherits stdout or stderr.
- CLI/sessions: show compact image labels in history instead of raw base64, preserving MIME types and older image records. Thanks @rome-xi and @odrobnik.
- Sessions: preserve the previous session when replacement fails, keep model choices and permission results scoped to each turn, and retain config catalogs when an accepted control omits them. Thanks @odrobnik.
- ACP/CLI: retain reconnect metadata and Claude settings isolation, correlate recovered load errors by direction, and report agent disconnects after partial exec output. Thanks @odrobnik.
- CLI/history: make
helpdisplay usage and preserve Unicode when trimming saved conversation text. Thanks @odrobnik. - Sessions/import: serialize concurrent imports so overlapping collision checks cannot create duplicate scopes or provider session identities.
- Sessions/resume: retire the previous local owner before reusing the same session record and keep the resumed record open for subsequent prompts.
- Sessions/import: coordinate imports with CLI and shared session ensures in the same scope, so ensure reuses an imported session or import reports the existing session instead of publishing a duplicate.
- Conformance: join adapter, descendant, and transport cleanup before reporting; retain original errors alongside cleanup failures, stop later cases after incomplete retirement, and clean up before exiting on catchable interruption.
- Sessions/resume: retire the original session owner before resuming the same local record from another cwd or name, including
sessions ensure, so subsequent prompts use the requested workspace. - Replay viewer: show pending tools as running when status-only updates contain no raw output, while preserving completed and failed results.
- Conformance: require completed filesystem callbacks with matching parameters and outcomes in the mock permission/read/write cases, so agent prose alone cannot make them pass.
- Replay viewer: keep the graph, playback controls, inspector, and run selector accessible when panels stack on narrower screens.
- Conformance: require per-prompt update evidence for single- and multi-turn checks instead of borrowing setup output or accumulated earlier updates.
- Terminals: wait for admitted terminal creation and its cleanup before reporting session or runtime shutdown complete, including children still awaiting spawn adoption.
- Docs/runtime: clarify that in-process steer turns wait for the active prompt and shared runtimes reject them. Thanks @saariuslystoned.
