Introduction

OpenCRVS v2.1.1 is a hotfix release which includes a critical security fix and a Postgres backup fix.

Security

  • Fixes a critical security vulnerability. Upgrade as soon as possible. Details will be published in a security advisory.

Bug fixes

  • Postgres with differential backup or restore enabled no longer fails to start after its pinned pgBackRest version is removed from the PostgreSQL apt repository. pgBackRest is now also installed from the archive repository, which keeps every release. The differential restore runner can now also reach the backup server. #14048

    Deployment notes:

    • If outbound traffic from the cluster is limited to an allowlist, add apt-archive.postgresql.org (HTTPS).
