Bug fix for release of 17 February 2025
v1.17.7 + bug fix
There is a bug discovered by our cloud models user: model hangs at the end of simulation and never completed.
Symptoms are:
- Model developer using
parameters_to_tablesstatement to allow saving of derived parameters as model output tables. - User run the model on multiple servers, for example in cloud.
- User select to run the model to produce only some output tables, not all output tables as it done by default.
- Model runs successfully until very end of simulation, progress of model run reach 100%, or close to it.
- Model run never completed and has to be cancelled (killed)
We cannot recreate that bug in "desktop" version of OpenM++, when user run only one model.exe and not using parallel model runs (MPI). It is may be only cloud version (MPI) of OpenM++ is affected.
