Running application

Please update below mentioned variables in class OpenTelemetrySupport.java, you can find this information by navigating to ingestion -> traces -> Open Telemetry in OpenObserve application.

// set url from openobserve ingestion traces page
String openobserve_http_url = "http://127.0.0.1:5080/api/dummy/traces";

String openobserve_grpc_url = "http://127.0.0.1:5081";

String openobserve_grpc_org = "dummy" 

By default sample program uses OtlpHttpSpanExporter , you can switch to OtlpGrpcSpanExporter by commenting out http exporter & uncommenting Grpc exporter.

Run the application

If you use gradle then you can use below command:

./gradlew run

If you use maven then you can use below command:

mvn exec:java -Dexec.mainClass="src.App"
