What is in 0.4.3
Garbage collection pauses under 0.1 ms.
- Garbage collection pauses are under 0.1 ms on a 16-thread machine (from
0.35 + 0.43 ms to 0.065 + 0.01 ms median, worst 1.2 ms to 0.2 ms; Go's are
0.14 + 0.05 ms): a worker idle in the scheduler waits parked, with its
registers saved and its stack pointer recorded, so the collector counts it
as stopped without a signal; stopped threads sleep on a futex (__ulock
on macOS) until the world runs again; the collector's waits spin before
they sleep; and the second pause finishes marking on one thread when
little is left.
