v2.8.1 infinite initial loading.

After ~48 hours i am still stuck here.
Unsure what is the issue, I tried with and without Tor, mbile data/wifi it just moves very very slowly.

Any ideas ?

We need to investigate this. My recommendation is to launch wassbi and DO NOT open any wallet until it finishes downloading the filters.

Yes. However, if you open a wallet while synchronizing the filters and the blocks compete for the connections. I see 5 peers connected what is not okay.

For some reasons peers keep being lost and replaced.

It is because they time out. Is your network okay? is it the same without Tor?

Yeah with and without Tor was the same, network was ok, normal day and normal use. It managed to sync everything in the last hours.

@lontivero you were right, sync works fine as long as i do not open a wallet. If a wallet is opened, it struggles to keep peers connected.

Restarting your client should work, I've never had anything get permanently stuck.
