Could you imagine a world without forests? Autumn without fog hanging over the trees? Let's be honest: at the rate things are going, our safest bet is probably to move them into our code. 🪴

How about a procedurally generated woodland, fractal trees grown from simple rules, a forest fire simulation, or an original visualizer for tree data structures? As always, feel free to think outside the forest! 💡

You have until the end of the month to code up an ASPL program on this theme. It must be open-source, and a link to it should be posted as a comment under this message or in the appropriate thread in our Discord server to enter the contest. The winner of the challenge will then be determined in a poll. They will receive a certificate, a book voucher, and a shoutout on BlueSky and X! 🏆
