Faculty rejection notice shows no reason, and support form creates no ticket

Hi everyone,

My initial GitHub Education Faculty application was rejected with a request to make sure my public profile name matched the full name on my proof of employment. I updated my profile name, signed out and back in, and reapplied.

The new rejection notice says GitHub was unable to verify my academic status and asks me to address the issues listed below, but no issues appear under that message.

I also tried the Education Support form. Clicking Submit returns general reapplication advice, and no ticket appears in My Tickets.

Is there another place to see the specific reason for the rejection? If the notice is missing its details, where can I report that issue?

Update: I also received a rejection email for my November 4, 2026 Faculty application. The email includes an “Issues to address” heading, but nothing is listed underneath it. It then links to the general troubleshooting documentation and asks me to reapply.

Both the application page and the rejection email are missing the specific issues I need to correct. Could someone from the Education team help determine whether the rejection details are failing to display, and explain how I can obtain those details?
