macOS 27.2 availability #212240

The Nov 4 xcode-27 runner image still runs macOS 27.0.1, even though Xcode 27.2 is already available. According to Apple's TN3214, FontValidator 3.5 ships with macOS 27.2+, so updating Xcode alone won't solve this. For now, a self-hosted runner on macOS 27.2 looks like the most practical workaround. Discussion Details
Apple has started producing warnings for fonts bundled with an app that are either licensed or owned by Apple. In TN3214 (https://developer.apple.com/documentation/technotes/tn3214-validating-the-fonts-you-ship-in-your-app) Apple shows you how to determine if a font will fail validation during submission.
The tools required are bundled with macOS 27.2. Is there a timeline for either:
a) Availability of macOS 27.2 as a runner image
b) Some other workaround that includes having FontValidator version 3.5 available in the runner images
