Verification Help & Guidance

Hi everyone,

I am a distance learning student at the University of Foreign Languages, Hue University (Vietnam), enrolled in a second-degree program. The school does not give me a school email, so I plan to use a document instead. My first application was rejected, and I am preparing to reapply with a new letter. I want to make sure I understand a few points before I submit again.

1. Name format. My name has Vietnamese accent marks. The FAQ says a typed English translation should not use accent marks, and my account name may need to match the translated proof. Should my GitHub profile name and billing name be written without accents (to match the translation), or with accents (to match the original document)? Does accent matching matter at all?

2. Distance learning proof. My school letter states "Mode of study: Distance learning" (Vietnamese: "He dao tao: Tu xa"), with the school name, my name, the academic course (2025-2027) and an issue date. Is a letter like this enough to show I am a distance learning student, since I am not near the campus? Is any extra proof needed?

3. Date. The application asks for a current date. My new letter will be dated within the last few days. Does the letter's issue date need to be recent, or is the academic course period shown on it enough?

4. One camera photo. The live camera allows only one image. I plan to put the original Vietnamese letter and a typed English translation side by side in the same photo. Is this the right way, and should the translation include the same school name wording that I select in the school list?

5. Program type. Is a second-degree (second bachelor's) distance learning program accepted like a first degree?

6. Benefits. Does an approved Student Developer Pack include GitHub Pro for my personal account (private repository features such as branch protection), or only other offers?

I will not post any personal information or images. Thank you for any guidance.
