try opening the search bar when you're on a code page. certain key combinations like SHIFT_C or SHIFT_R get hijacked, close the search bar, and make it so that it cannot be opened again without a complete refresh.

in this screencast I'm trying to search for "BLEND_SCREEN" - as you can see, I never get there....
