Cannot select agent model for Copilot Pro+ user, please help

Hi friends, I am using VSC and Copilot agent mode, I used to have many models I can select, however today I only have one default model "HydraFusion".

Accoring to Copilot document, as a Pro+ user, I should have access to many LLM models, however there are no any document how to do that, either on Github account or on VSC side.

Any suggestions would really appreciate, thank you so much !

According to this documentation, I should have many LLM Models to select with. However I can only see a few.

Hi! Here are the steps to restore the model picker in VS Code for Copilot:

1. Update VS Code & Copilot Extensions:

   • Make sure you are on the latest version of VS Code.
   • Go to the Extensions tab (Cmd + Shift + X on macOS or Ctrl + Shift + X on Windows) and ensure GitHub Copilot and GitHub Copilot Chat are updated to the latest pre-release or stable versions.

2. Re-authenticate your GitHub Account:

   • Click the Accounts icon (bottom-left gear icon > Accounts).
   • Sign out of your GitHub account and sign back in to refresh your license entitlements (Pro/Pro+ permissions).

3. Check GitHub Settings:

   • Go to your GitHub account settings: https://github.com/settings/copilot.
   • Verify that model switching / preview features are enabled under your subscription policies.

4. Reload Window:

   • In VS Code, press Cmd + Shift + P (or Ctrl + Shift + P) -> type Developer: Reload Window and press Enter.

Once reloaded, opening the Chat input box should show the model selector dropdown (e.g., Claude 3.5 Sonnet, GPT-4o, etc.) next to the model name. Hope this helps!
