Lately I've received this mail from GH:

When I navigate to https://github.com/codespaces, I get to see exactly this screen:

As far as I can see I have no active codespaces. So what is incurring/occupying my free storage useage?

Thanks, it was indeed some long forgotten prebuild for one of my repo's eating up the space.

I have the same problem. Here I checked the link, but I cannot create any usage report. Only an overview can be seen. I have no codespaces and It is not possible to see, where are so called prebuilds
